                pvCollection.Add(ID)

 rpt.DataDefinition.ParameterFields("ID").ApplyCurrentValues(pvCollection)

note the ID in the last line is the name of parameter in the reports

sory am forget to say thats rep inthe code reprsent the reports object and its declar like thats

dim rep as new ReportName

the idea is so easy

first line and secound line decalar an parameter and the secound declar parameter collection

Dim ID As New CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterDiscreteValue

Dim pvCollection As New CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterValues

secound step give the parameter an value

ID.Value = txtID.Text

thired step add the parameter to the collection of parameter

pvCollection.Add(ID)

fouth step decalar an report object

dim rep as new ReportName

note thats reportname is the reports name thats u create or u need to send the parameter to it

finally add the parameter collection to the report

note thaqts u must declar an parameter feild in the report with name ID as use in code
