i have a problem in installing linux fedora core3,i started the installation process then when i was making partitiong i made swap and / directory and when i made the /home directory,i found erroe said that (error partitions,,u can't allocate partition table).,
what can i do if anyone can help me.
hint:i found this problem when i tried to install another distributions.
ليس من الضرورة اضافة /home .. فقط انت بحاجة الى / و swap ..
اعد التثبيت وتأكد من نوع البارتشن .. تأكد ان / نوعه ext3 و swap
نوعه swap أكيد :)

يفضل الغاء اى قسم وتركه بدون فرمات وعند تثبيت اللينكس اختار automatic
ثم اختار keep all partitions and use free space
وهو ها يعمل اللازم
ممكن تستعمل اى برنامج تقسيم والغاء قسم فارغ لديك سا تستخدمه للينكس ويفضل اكثر من خمسه جيجا مثلا

you can make only four primary partions
to do what you want
delet one of your primary patition
1 primary partion for windows
1 primary for swap
1 primary for the root
and then one extended partion with which you can make any logical drives (home ,var , usr, and so on)
