سؤال عن التاريخ في MySql

كيف يمكن أن أجعل حقل التاريخ يأخذ تنسيق معين في قاعدة بيانات MySql.

هل المقصود بالتنسيق وهو ما يزال بالقاعدة أم بعد الخروج الى صفحات الويب؟ وما المقصود بالتنسيق (اقصد ترتيب معين أم ألوان وهكذا ..) وشكرا

المقصود بالتنسيق ال (format) مثلا التنسيقات (mm-dd-year ,... ) و أريد أن أجعل التاريخ الوارد من النموذج يحفظ في قاعدة البيانات بالتنسيق الذي أحدده .
