- Dedicated server mode.
- Custom memory.
- Storage type is file system.
- 3 groups of redolog. Page 352
Each group contains 3 redolog files.
- 3 control files.
Tablespaces are:
SYSTEM (with one datafile).
SYSAUX (with one datafile).
UNDOTBS1 (with one datafile).
USERS (with one datafile).
TEMP (with one datafile).
- Do not include any additional tablespace.
- Default character set.
- No archive log mode.
Suppose you have 3 Hard Disks (C:, D:, and E:), how you will distribute all your previous database physical files (redolog files, control files, and datafiles) on these 3 disks to obtain:
• Best Performance.
• High Availability for redo and control files.
