. Shortest path:

A transportation company in Saudi Arabia needs to route delivery between cities on the shortest route.

To implement this system you need to do the following tasks:

1. Convert the map in the figure to a network that holds the major cities only.

2. Assign actual distance between cities

3. Write an interactive program that given the start and destination will display the shortest route between them.

Consider the following 20 major cities of the Kingdom: RIYADH, TAIF, HOLY CITY OF MAKKAH, HOLY CITY OF MADINAH, JEDDAH, JUBAIL & YANBU, DAMMAM, ABHA, AL-HASA, AL-OLA, AL-BAHA, BURAIDAH, DHAHRAN, HA'IL, JIZAN, JOUF, KHOBAR, NAJRAN, TABOUK, UNAIZAH.

What to submit:

Submit project report (hard & soft copy) that contains at least:

1. Cover page ( project name + team members)

2. Table of contents

3. Project Objectives

4. Brief project description (specification)

5. ADT of appropriate data structure (in a separate source file) and the reasons of your selection

6. Algorithms of all functions used with their big-O

7. Implementation platform and any additional tools

8. Conclusion

a. Project difficulties and how they were solved

b. Who did what: a page containing different project jobs assigned to each member

c. Acknowledgement: any help received from others

9. References: either books or websites or any

10. Appendixes with the source code in C++ and sample run outputs
