سؤال في المعالجة التفرعية

أظن أنك درستهم وعندك معلومات كافية عنهم لكن مشتت فى كثرة المصطلحات وتشابهها

لذلك لن أتعمق فى شرحهم ولكن سأعطيك ما تبحث عنه وهو الفروق الواضحة والمحددة بين المصطلحات

أولاً Parallel Processing هو نفسه Parallel Computing

إذا إحنا أصبحنا نقارن بين مصطلحين فقط

ما هو Parallel Computing or Processing : بمنتهى البساطة هو استخدام اكتر من Procsessor داخل نفس جهاز الـ Computer أو استخدام أكتر من Procsessor لأكثر من جهاز Computer عبر الشبكة Network لعمل معالجة Process لمهمة واحدة Task اولبرنامج واحد او عملية واحدة حسابية علمية معقدة تحتاج لوقت وامكانيات جهاز كبيرة جداً مثل التى تستخدم فى الفلك او الاحوال الجوية.

ما هو الـ Multiprocessing : أيضاً بمنتهى البساطة هو استخدام اكثر من Processor داخل جهاز Computer واحد أو استخدام أكثر من Core داخل الـ Processor واحد لكى يتم معالجة أكثر من مهمة Task فى وقت واحد بحيث كل Processor أو كل Core يقوم بمعالجة مهمة من المهام من أولها لآخرها ( One task completely processed through one core or processor ).

The simultaneous use of more than one CPU to execute a program. Ideally, parallel processing makes a program run faster because there are more engines (CPUs) running it. In practice, it is often difficult to divide a program in such a way that separate CPUs can execute different portions without interfering with each other. In multiprocessing Two or more identical processors are connected to a single shared main memory.

So in parallel processing one task will be handled by many processors, and in multi processing many tasks will be divided among many processors. (one task completely handled by one processor)
