Java

Perl

http://www.mediafire.com/?t2twunfogzo

http://www.mediafire.com/?mqcwhqy2ztq

Book1.csv أو Book.txt

1-95 books

http://www.mediafire.com/?yqtndz1njnl

1st World Whole Prophetic Saying Hadis in One File

Regular expression

Regular expression)

Step

Log

Fuzzy search

Etc

b is a space inserted when colored (matched or not matched)

Introduction

[1]

Search in Perl is by default case sensitive. Therefore Expression 1 will find the specified text, but Expression 2 will not. Switch i enables case insensitive search (Expression 3 )

[2] No comments

[3]

By default each character inside the search pattern is significant including white space characters (space, tab, new line). In Expression 5 number of spaces agree and in Expression 6 disagree. If x switch is used, then all white spaces are considered insignificant, if they are not escaped with backslash. Compare Expression 7 and Expression 8

Meta-characters

[4]

Some characters have a special meaning in perl. Character ^

matches the beginning of the line (Expression 9) while dollar sign the end of the line (Expression 10)

[5]

Point . matches any character (Expression 11) except a new line. (Expression 12). It will match even new line if switch s is used (Expression 13)

[6]

Sometimes real word meaning of meta-character is needed. In this case backslash is used. In Expression 14 and Expression 16 has the point meta-character meaning while in Expression 15 its real one. Expression 17 combines both meanings.

Character Classses

[7]

Character classes are enclosed with [] and enable selection from a list of characters.

[8]

A range of characters in character classes is specified with [ - ] syntax.

[9]

If a character class starts with ^, then specified characters will not be selected

[10]

Alternating text can be enclosed in parentheses and alternatives separated with |.

Quantifiers

[11]

Quantifiers enable specify how many times a character can occur. Star * (Expression 22) matches zero or more, plus + (Expression 23) once or more and question mark ? (Expression 24) zero or once.

[12]

Curly brackets enable precise specification of character

repetitions. {m} matches precisely m times (Expression 25), {m,n} matches minimally m times and maximally n times (Expression 26) and {m,} matches minimally m times (Expression 27).

[13]

By default any sub pattern matches as many times as possible. This behavior is changed to matching the minimum number if quantifier is followed with the question mark. Compare Expression 28 with Expression 29 and Expression 30 with Expression 31.

Perl Special Characters

[14]

\w matches any word character alphanumeric plus "_" )

[15]

\W matches any non word character (everything but

alphanumeric plus "_" ). Compare Expression 33 and

Expression 34.

[16]

\s matches white space characters: space, new line and tab. \S matches any nonwhite space character. Compare Expression 35 and Expression 36. Expression 37 have in this case the same meaning as Expression 38.

[17]

\d matches any digit and \D anything else. Compare

Expression 39 and Expression 40.

Zero-Width Assertions

[18]

\b matches a word boundary. A word boundary (\b) is defined as a spot between two characters that has a \w on one side of it and a \W on the other side of it (in either order). Expression 41 and Expression 42 give a simple example. Study carefully Expression 43 and Expression 44. You have to realize that g switch is on. Therefore inside the sentence hits goes in couples and this can

be perplexing at first sight..

[19]

\B matches a non (word boundary). A word boundary (\b)

is defined as a spot between two characters that has a \w on one side of it and a \W on the other side of it (in either order). Expression 45 and Expression 46 give a simple example. Study carefully Expression 47 and Expression 48.

[20]

\A matches only at the beginning of string. It is similar to ^, but ^ will match after each new line, if modifier /m is used. Compare Expression 49 and Expression 50 and then Expression 50 and Expression 51.

[21]

\Z matches only at the end of string or before new line at the

end. It is similar to $, but $ will match before each new line, if

modifier /m is used. Compare Expression 52 and Expression 53 and then Expression 53 and Expression 54

Extension Functions

[22]

(?=) will look ahead if the pattern exist, but will not include it in the hit. Compare Expression 55 and Expression 56. Expression 57 selects all alphanumeric characters, which are not at the end of word.

[23]

(?!) will look ahead if the pattern exist. If it does, there will be no hit. Expression 58 selects all alphanumeric characters, which are not followed with letter s. Expression 59 gives further example.

[24]

(?!) will look ahead if the pattern exist. If it does, there will be no hit. Expression 60 selects all alphanumeric characters, which are not followed with letter s. Expression 61

... الخ
