Job Title: Lead Software Developer

Company: CERTSOFT

Location: Dubai

Duration: 10 months, renewable upon completion

POSITION SUMMARY

A senior programmer with the primary responsible for maintaining/developing software code using the .NET framework and associated tools. Successful candidates have the ability to write efficient software code for enterprise environments. They should also have a good grasp of current best-practice database and software development methodologies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education / Qualification:

 A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.

 Experience developing several applications using the platforms and skills described below.

Experience & Special Skills:

The programmer must have 5+ years of experience with:

 C# .NET

 ADO .NET

 SQL Server Databases

 SQL Queries and Stored Procedures

 WPF

Good understanding of the following:

 Web services and client-server

 Database normalization

 Client-server architecture

 Files and serialization

 Multithreading

Experience with the following is desirable but not required:

 XAML & SOAP

 UML

 Systems Administration

 Networking/LANs, TCP/IP protocol

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties & Responsibilities

 Work with senior programmers to plan program code enhancements and changes

 Develop, test and maintain software code

 Create database tables, relations and supporting code

 Maintain and organize code inline documentation

COMMUNICATION

 Ability to clearly communicate technical issues

 Have a “service” orientation

 Well organized
