سؤال عن كيفية تغيير حجم الشاشة على نظام ubuntu 10.04 NetBook

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله تعالى و بركاته...

أحاول منذ مدة ليست بالقصيرة تغيير حجم الشاشة للابتوب لكن بدون فائدة!

هناك سؤال في المنتدى مشابه لسؤالي لكن لا أجد الملف /etc/X11/xorg.conf حتى أقوم بتعديله...

أحجام الشاشة المتوفرة لدي الآن هي 640x480 و 800x600 و أنا أبحث عن الحجم 1280x800 32bits 60hz

كارت جرافيك : Mirage 3+ SIS672 series

الملف غير موجود by default يمكنك بناؤه بإستخدام أمر

sudo Xorg -configure

لقد قمت سابقا بإنشاء الملف و زيادة الأحجام المناسبة فيه, لكن بدون فائدة!

هي فقط حاجة واحدة لم أقم بها ذكرها الأخر caballero في رده عن تقريبا نفس سؤالي :

إحفظ هذا الأخير وأغلق المحرر، وإضغط على Ctrl+Alt+Backspace

كذلك لم أقم بعد التعديل بإعادة تشغيل الحاسوب

هل فوتت شيئا؟

أخي قد يكون هذا بسبب Graphic card التي تملكها ،

لكن جرب هذه الطريقة و قد تعمل معك

الآن, قمت بإنشاء الملف /etc/X11/xorg.conf

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله

اخي بحسب الـ Log يبدو أن الـ Xorg sis الموجود لديك في النظام لا يدعم الكرت الخاص بك فكما نرى :

(EE) No devices detected.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

قرأت مرة عن مشكلة مشابهة أثناء بحثي عن مشكلة أخرى

نعم إخواني جزاكم الله كل خير,

لا يمكنني المتابعة بعد الضغط على Ctrl+Alt+F1 حيث لا يعود يظهر أي شيء سوى نقاط عشوائية على الشاشة...

أنا الآن أحاول تهيئة العمل بنظام vesa قبل البدء في تهيئة الدرايفر sis_671...

سأبحث عن قيم معدل تحديث الشاشة لحل هذا المشكل :

نجحت في إظهار الأحجام 1024x768 و 1280x768 بعد الحصول على قيم معدلات التحديثات المناسبة للشاشة

لا يبدو أي ثقل في عمليات الرسم باستعمال الدرايفر vesa

سأبدء في عملية تهيئة العمل بالدرايفر sis_671...

الحمد لله, حلت المشكلة...

بالنسبة للحل باستخدام درايفر vesa فهو غير مكتمل لأنه تبقى بعض الخطوط البيضاء تظهر إذا ركزت جيدا على الشاشة و هذا هو محتوى xorg.conf :

المشكلة في اختيار معدلات تحديث الشاشة HorizSync و VertRefresh و Modes و DefaultDepth و Depth اي خطأ فيها يرجعنا للقيم الافتراضية و هي 640x480 و 800x600

بالنسبة للتهيئة باستخدام الدرايفر sis671_drv.so فيجب أولا تحميل الدرايفر من النت ثم نسخه إلى المجلد /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers

ثم بعد ذلك تهيئة الملف xorg.conf :

بطريقة اخرى

Here is the 2d driver for ubuntu 10.04.

If you are using vesa driver now, you may change your resolution to lower resolution such as 1024x768 first.

Then just copy sis_drv.* to /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/

And restart X or reboot.

Recently, SiS ask me to develop new 3d driver for linux, so I just porting 2d driver to ubuntu 10.04.

If you find some bugs of 2d driver, I will fix it in my free time.
