Development and Design of the Website:

1. Web developer (with excellent Webdesigner skills)

General: - Excellent design skills (e.g. good design examples)

- Average programming skills

Programming languages:

Java (average),

Java Servlets (average),

JavaScript (excellent),

DOM (excellent),

HTML (excellent) ,

CSS (excellent),

AJAX (excellent)

SQL (basic),

XHTML for cellphones (excellent).

Optional: PHP programming skills ,

knowledge about cellphone hardware

features / cellphone web browsers of different manufacturers and other web standards,

Work experience: (defined by work examples and qualification assesment task)

Qualification Assessment task: The person applying for this job must demonstrate its skills by implementing in about 3h a website (defined by a screenshot) and creating the required interactive functionality (e.g. Ajax or JavaScript).

Development of the server sided calendar application:

2. Webdeveloper (with excellent programmer skills)

General: - Excellent programming skills (e.g. writes clean, fast and well documented code)

- Average knowledge about Webdesign

Programming languages:

Java (excellent),

Java Servlets (excellent),

JavaScript (basic),

HTML (basic) ,

SQL (average),

Shell scripting (average)

Configuration Skills: Knows how to configure a Apache Tomcat web server and how to deploy and run the developed applications (specific knowledge here is an advantage)

Optional: XHTML for cellphones,CSS , AJAX, DOM, PHP

Work experience: at least 6 months / maybe fresh university graduate

Qualification assessment task:

Write a Java servlet and deploy it on a server which uses user input data, makes database accesses and makes a non trivial computation operation for which an algorithm has to be derived / invented.(time for the task 3 h)

Setup, Configuration and Monitoring of all the IT Systems involved

(especially Database)

3. Database (and System) Administrator

General - Has excellent knowledge how to configure ,install, setup, manage and optimize a MySQL database.

- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and their designing.

- Can manage the hosting accounts and servers for the company

- Can configure a e.g. Apache Tomcat server securely.

Programming languages:

SQL(excellent),

Shell scripting (excellent),

knows how to implement database reference integrity checks as well as triggers. Java + Java Servlets (basic)

Skills: - Knows how to backup the database and to design secure transactions

- Is aware of the security issue, SQL injections and other threats

- Can interact with the support staff of the hosting company to make the installation safe and performant.

- Managmenet of the Database and the different Hosting accounts.

- Knows how to configure virtualized and real servers.

Work experience: (minimum 1.5 years in that field, letters of reference and exact description of previous tasks on the job)

Qualification assessment tasks: Difficult to realize for this job type. Information about previous work experience must be detailed and trustable.

4. Team assistant

Skills: - good English writing skills.

- acceptable oral English skills

- must speak and write arabic.(maybe for translations)

- Must have at least average computer user skills (Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- Must be flexible and being able to do a lot of tasks (eg. email correspondence, project tracing, making backup of development files, document the project, prepare presentations, handle phone calls and appointments)

- Report project progress, monitor programmers

- Motivate people and be friendly

- Write meeting summaries.

- Gather information from the Web (google)

- Read trough technical documentations and summarize / highlight passages

- Organize events .....

- Needs organizing talent ..

Work experience: at least an internship required.

Qualification Assessment task: to be determined
