anther solution to the above ,if you have domain based network you can configure a groups policy object(software Distribution) and it will be installed on demand by the network users

if you have domain beased network tell me and i will tell you how to configure this option.

sorry for being late replieng to your thread because i have many exams this days and i was very busy, i'm very sorry my friend.

well to install the software centrally in your network by creating a group policy object (GPO) and linking it to the desired users please do the following.

1-Creat an orgaizational unit (OU) for groups or users that you want to publish your software for them.

(it supposed that you already designed your OU structure)

2-From the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in right click the OU you want to have the publish your softwareto. Right-click this OU , click Properties, and then click the Group Policy tab.

3-Create a new GPO for installing your software package, and give the new GPO a name.

4-Select the new GPO you just created, click Edit. it will starts the Group Policy snap-in and lets you edit this GPO to publish your software.

5-right-click the Software installation in the GPO, and then click New Package.

6-You will prompted for the path to the Windows Installer file (.msi) for the software you want to assign. click the file, and then click Open.

7-you will prompted to choose between Assigned and Advanced Published or Assigned, click Assigned.(You should now see the software package in the right pane of the Group Policy snap-in.)

8-From the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in, click the OU tha you which you linked your GPO. Right-click that OU, click Properties, and then click the Group Policy tab.

9-Right Click the GPO tha you created and choose properties.

10-Click the Security tab, and then remove Authenticated Users from the list.

11-Click Add, and them select the group which you plan to have this policy applied to add it to the list.

12-Select this group, and then give them READ and Apply Group Policy permissions.

that's all to publish your software.

Note:

1- there is many advanced options in publishing the software, i ignored them for make it easy for you if you need any advanced settings tell me, but the above solution must work for you insha2Allah.

2-you must logon to the Domain by a Domain Administrator Account.

3-the group that you will assign the groups policy to , must be a security group.(it mean a group that you can assign permissions to.)

4-the software you want to publish must contain a microsoft installer package (.MSI) and most new software include this file (MS Offics and norton for example contain this file)
