أعزائي إخواني :

هذه هي أغراض متصفح الإنترنت

ونوصل للخصائص أو المناهج بواسطة النقطة

على سبيل المثال كلنا نعرف أن alert تعليمة لأظهار صندوق ولكن هل خطر ببالك ماهية هذا الأمر أنه

منهج ل للغرض window

إذ1 يمكن أن نكتب window.alert

والغرض window هو الأب أي إذا أردت الوصول للكتابة على المستند أكتب

window.document.write

ونلاحظ أن المنج write هو خاص للغرض document

إخواني لابد أنه توضحت الأمور وأي سؤال أنا جاهز .....

Window Object

Properties

defaultStatus: Gets or sets the default status text in the the status bar.

frames: Returns the array of frames for the current window.

history: Returns the History object of the current window.

location: Returns the Location object for the current window (read-only).

name: Returns the name of the current window (read-only).

navigator: Returns the Navigator object of the current window.

parent: Returns the Window object that evaluates to the parent window.

self: Returns the Window object of the current window.

status: Gets or sets the status text in the status bar.

top: Returns the Window object of the topmost window (the containing window of all frames in the current browser instance).

Methods

alert: Displays an alert message box.

clearTimeout: Clears a timer set with the setTimeout method.

close: Closes the window.

confirm: Displays a message box that allows the user to click OK or Cancel and returns either True or False.

navigate: Navigates the window to a new URL.

open: Opens a new window.

prompt: Prompts the user for input.

setTimeout: Sets a timer to execute a procedure after a specified number of milliseconds.

Events

onLoad: Fired when the contents of the window are loaded.

onUnload: Fired when the contents of the window are unloaded.

A Frame object behaves exactly like a Window object. See the previous section for a listing of the properties, methods, and events.

History Object

Properties

length: Returns the length of the history list.

Note: In Internet Explorer 3.0, the length property always returns 0.

Methods

back: Jumps back in the history a specified number of steps.

forward: Jumps forward in the history a specified number of steps.

go: Goes to a particular item in the history.

appCodeName: Returns the code name of the application.

Properties

hash: Gets or sets the hash portion (#) of the URL, if specified.

pathname: Gets or sets the pathname in the URL.

port: Gets or sets the port of the URL.

protocol: Gets or sets the protocol portion of the URL (for example, http).

search: Gets or sets the search portion of the URL, if specified.

Document Object

Properties

Gets or sets the current color of the active link in a document (not supported by Internet Explorer 3.0>

Returns the array of anchors in a document.

Gets or sets the background color of a document.

Gets or sets the foreground color of a document.

Returns the array of forms in a document.

Returns the date the document was last modified.

Gets or sets the current color of the links in a document (cannot be changed after the document loads).

Returns the array of links for the current document.

Gets or sets the current color of the links in a document (cannot be changed after the document loads).

Gets the URL of the referring document.

Returns the document's title (read-only).

Gets or sets the current color of the visited links in a document (cannot be changed after the document loads).

Methods

clear: Closes the document output stream and writes data to the screen.

close: Updates the screen to display all of the strings written after the last open method call.

open: Opens the document stream for output.

write: Inserts a string at the end of a document.

writeLn: Inserts a string at the end of a document (with a new-line character appended to the end).

Link Object
