سوف هذا المنهج أللي يدرس بجامعه FullSail الأمريكية لتخصص مطور الألعاب Game Development ( بالانجليزية )
3D Content Creation:
Video games need eye candy, and it just might be your job to provide it. This course will give you training on industry-standard 3D animation software packages, as you learn what it takes to create visuals that hold their own alongside your programming and level design.
Advanced Tools Programming:
If you want to design a great video game, you'll need to know what tools to use. In this course, you'll learn all about the software and programming techniques game developers use to make cutting-edge games. This is what game school is all about – you'll build COM interfaces to exiting 3D modeling software, create plug-ins for 3D software, and survey file formats while learning how to manipulate them through C++ and industry standard programming software.
Artificial Intelligence:
A video game wouldn’t be much fun if it wasn’t a challenge, and that’s where artificial intelligence comes in. This course will teach you the computer programming techniques to design and create realistic opponents for any style of game, using planning, decision-making, and learning algorithms.
Asset Production:
The Asset Production course is the core of the Game Design and Development Program. Using the training you’ve received in other game design courses, you’ll work on the audio and visual components of your final project – a complete video game. You’ll combine these raw elements with essential computer programming skills as you learn to make the game you’ve always dreamed of.
Behavioral Science:
By understanding your strengths, weaknesses, limitations, and motivations, you can better set yourself up to succeed in school, business, and in life. This course will help you evaluate your own abilities and utilize methods that can improve your performance in any endeavor – including time management, organizational skills, stress reduction, active listening, and more.
Calculus and Trigonometry:
Any game developer will tell you – math is important. And since this is a game design school, this second of three math courses is vital to understanding how to create a realistic and enjoyable gaming experience for the player. You’ll learn about the concepts of limits, tangents, and derivatives, as well as parametric equations and how they control motion in a video game. Hold on, physics is up next.
Communications:
To get your ideas across, you’re going to have to spend a lot of time communicating, and this course will make sure you have the skills to make it happen. You’ll do projects that involve research, analytical writing, and oral presentations, giving you a solid basis of communication through writing, reading, listening, and, of course, speaking. Overall, this course will help you communicate with others while also understanding where they might be coming from.
Data Structures:
There’s a lot you need to learn to get your game programming skills up to snuff, and the Data Structures course will give you a solid foundation you’ll use during the rest of school. You’ll dive into subjects like algorithmic analysis and design, abstract data types, and techniques to help implement large-scale game projects.
DirectX:
Meet the best friend of the computer game developer – DirectX. A powerful development tool, DirectX allows computer games to more efficiently use 3D graphics, audio, and video. You’ll discover how to improve your games by using DirectX while learning tools and tricks of the trade used by professional video game developers. It’s another step towards making your programming skills industry-ready.
Engine Development 1:
The Engine Development I Course teaches students techniques used to integrate complex systems. In this course, students explore limitations of game engines with particular emphasis on the architectural engine
design and feature integration. Students also study and exercise production methodologies and practices utilized by development studios to create stand-alone gaming applications. The course also covers the limitations of implementing cross-platform technology for console and PC-based systems.
Engine Development 2:
The Engine Development II Course focuses on the generic and universal issues involved in programming for 3D engines, taking into account lower-level graphics libraries as well as other 3D hardware issues. Course topics include programming object and camera motions, collision detection and collision response, integration, performance analysis, and special effects such as particle systems.
Ethics and Psychology:
You know it's not just a video game and so do your players. In this course, you’ll learn how to think like a game developer and relate to the average gamer, by studying how cultural, societal, and human factors affect game design and the overall gaming experience. You’ll also explore the nature of psychology as it applies to game design, giving you the tools to build a video game with lasting appeal.
Game Networking:
console games. Start with basic networking programming design principles and explore resource sharing, arbitration, and maximizing concurrency from a game design perspective.
Game Preproduction:
Like any professional game developer, before you start programming your game design project, you’ll need to clearly define your goals for gameplay and features. The Game Preproduction course will give you the ability and time to plan your video game, from the earliest design concept – including genre, size, art requirements, and more – to the finished product.
Game Project:
The Game Project course is where you show off everything you’ve learned in school, as you take on the mantle of game developer. You’ll gather all the assets created during previous game design courses, and assemble them according to your preproduction plan, as you use your programming skills to create a complete playable video game.
Historical Archetypes and Mythology:
In this course, you'll explore how myths, fairy tales, and folklore link
disparate cultures, while analyzing common themes and underlying similarities of
human cultures. Then you'll wrap that knowledge back around to examine how myths
and archetypes influence popular entertainment and art, and how corporations and
media outlets use these tools to create dramatic messages, sell products, and
influence consumers' behavior.
Linear Algebra:
If the last time you studied math was in high school, then it’s time to refresh your memory. In this course, the first of three math courses in the Game Development Program, you’ll build a foundation for your programming skills by reviewing topics in geometry, algebra II, and trigonometry, before moving on to math’s applications in collision detection and motion of objects for video games.
Machine Architecture 1:
To design a video game, you need to understand the hardware that it will run on. In this course, you’ll study the core of computers and game consoles – the microprocessor. You’ll learn the capabilities of a variety of different processors, as you gain the foundation needed to write effective applications for current and future computer and console architecture.
Machine Architecture 2::
The Machine Architecture II Course exposes students to the concept of embedded computer systems, which operate differently from a desktop or laptop machine. In this course, students investigate machine architecture with a particular focus on how the hardware architecture influences the way software is designed, as they learn to craft code sequences that marry with the hardware to improve performance.
Students also explore embedded development with an emphasis on how the system impacts software design and development methodologies.
Media and Society:
Get in touch with your inner marketing mogul. Familiarize yourself with the various types of media product, while learning how to market, distribute, and sell them. Learn how the power of media impacts society today.
OpenGL:
Game developers understand the value of tools that make their jobs easier, and this course will introduce you to one of those tools. OpenGL is a high performance, cross platform, real-time 3D computer graphics library used in video game and simulation design. You’ll learn how to use its many functions – including lighting, texture mapping, and other special effects – in service of your game design goals.
Optimization:
Whether you're making a video game for a computer or a console, you need to play to the strengths of the machine. This course will show you how basic programming languages like C and C++ work, while teaching you system layout that will allow you to write code that makes the most of your platform's abilities.
Physics:
A big part of what makes a video game realistic is how the characters move. In this third of three math classes in the Game Development Program, you’ll learn how real-world physics affects movement and collisions in video games. Your programming skills will increase as you learn how to translate that motion into computer code.
Programming 1:
All right, it's time to learn C++, the programming language used as the main foundation for creating video games. During this first of two pure programming courses, you will learn basic C++ coding syntax as well as fundamental programming skills that will allow you to design and develop computer programs.
Programming 2:
In this course, you will go even deeper into the C++ programming language, learning how its object-oriented structure is used as a tool for creating video games. You will tackle advanced programming concepts like data structures and key algorithms, while strengthening your programming skills across the board.
Programming 3:
The Programming III Course finishes teaching the essentials of C++, concentrating on the newest features added to the language. Students will learn how to use the Standard Template Library to create reliable programs faster and are also shown more advanced concepts such as complex data structures and key algorithms.
Rules of the Game:
This is where you’ll create your game bible – the document that outlines all the details that will make up your original video game. You’ll learn how to build an effective game bible – outlining background information, the story, asset lists, hardware and software requirements, and more – that will maximize your design and development time. With a properly detailed game bible, a programming and artistic team can take a game from start to finish without any extra information, and you’ll know how to get it done.
Software Architecture:
Don't be afraid to integrate. Gaming systems are often comprised of several different, yet compatible components. In this course, it's your job to figure out how to organize a computer software system to combat the problems that may arise through combining different architectural styles.
Structure of Game Production:
The Structure of Game Production Course immerses students in an intensive game development project with heavy emphasis on core teamwork as well as project planning and documentation. Student assignments include creation of technical design documentation and implementation of game technology designed to provide a strong foundation for delivering milestones in subsequent courses. Students are also introduced to a Software Quality Assurance cycle with an emphasis on peer review and proper defect reporting mechanisms.
Structures of Game Design:
A video game is, at its core, just another way to tell a story, and there are a lot of tools you’ll need to master to be able to effectively tell that story. In this course, you’ll gain expertise in English grammar, writing mechanics, storytelling, documentation, project development, and more, as you gain the ability to create compelling and innovative storylines, dialogue, and characters while working and communicating as a part of a larger development team on a game design project, as you fine-tune the game document that will become your final game project.
Windows Programming 1:
Not all consoles are the same, and some video games don't even use them. Use the Win32 API to gain insight into message driver architectures, so that you can see how programming for them is different from console techniques. You’ll also learn additional programming techniques via the Microsoft Foundation Class library, giving you the skills to create elegant user interfaces and use complex problem solving to construct complex applications.
Windows Programming 2:
The Windows Programming II Course is a comprehensive survey of Windows programming through the use of the object-oriented Microsoft Foundation Classes. The MFC library is examined in order to gain a full understanding of its nature and scope, with particular attention paid to message driven architecture and how programming MFC is different from Win32 techniques. All aspects of MFC architecture are examined as students learn how to create elegant user interfaces and use problem-solving techniques required to construct complex applications.
