TadakirCom System

Let us begin with a requirements specification that is somewhat vague. It could be written by customers or derived from a vision statement created by top management.

Requirements Specification

TadakirCom is in the business of selling tadakirs for almost all types of events. The system will use the Internet as one of the medium to sell the tadakirs. First version of the system will only be concerned with events within KSA. The other medium that is used to reach customers is via phone.

The management is motivated by the prospect of getting new customers due to competitive pricing for huge variety of events and meeting customers’ choice of seating. The system will also be able to reduce labor costs by automatic payment processing through the Internet instead of manual processing of credit card transactions. The plan is to reduce the manual processing as much as possible by providing incentives to customers for ordering via Internet.

Customers are encouraged to register for a TadakirCom account due to several benefits. They are:

1. Customers can access information and resources to help them plan and expedite the tadakir purchase. The following functionality is provided:

· Information about upcoming tours and events.

· Special tadakir offers

· Exclusive presales

· A registered customer can subscribe for notification of events.

2. Register Billing Information

Save time on your next visit by just logging on to the site to purchase tadakirs quickly. No need to give information such as credit card number, expiration date, billing address and delivery preferences.

3. View Order

Check status of your orders online – even if you bought your tadakirs by phone. Just sign in to view order history.
