في سبق صحفي نادر جداً، صرحت شركة جوجل عملاق الدعاية و الاعلان في الانترنت بأنها فتحت المجال بنشر اعلاناتها في المواقع العربية و التي تعرف بخدمة جوجل ادسنس للمحتوى AdSense for Content .
حيث ان الشركة تمنح الفرصة لمن يرغب في تخصيص مساحة على موقعه ويسمح بتشغيل اعلانات المعلنين لدى جوجل في تلك المساحة، و يتم احتساب عمولات مالية حقيقة على كل ضغطة يقوم بها زوار الموقع.
و جاء هذا التصريح بعد ان قامت ادارة موقع جامعة أهلاً عرب بمراسلة شركة جوجل في يوم السبت بتاريخ 14 يوليو 2007 للإستفسار عن مدى امكانية وضع اعلانات جوجل في المواقع العربية، حيث انه من المعروف ان شركة جوجل كانت تمنع هذا الاجراء نظراً لأن نظامها لا يدعم الاعلانات العربية في تلك الفترة، وقد تم فعلاً معاقبة الكثير من المواقع العربية بسبب هذا التصرف المحضور في وجهة نظر جوجل لكونه يخل باتفاقية تشغيل خدمة جوجل ادسنس ان ذاك.
وفي يوم الثلاثاء تاريخ 24 يوليو 2007 جاء الرد من شركة جوجل يفيد بالسماح للمواقع العربية بتشغيل الاعلانات العربية عليها، كما تظمنت رسالة الرد طريقة اضافة الإعلانات العربية لمن يرغب في تشغيلها في غرفة التحكم الخاصة به ان لم تكن ظاهرة.

This is Ahmed from Sultanate of Oman, Middle East area. I have a huge number of websites with more than 100,000 visits a day. All contents in my website are Arabic language.
Recently, I realized that Google adsense does support and displays Arabic ads, so I put some Google advertisement on my website for testing purpose, and I can see that it works perfectly.
Now, I need you to clarify this case, can I use Google ads on my Arabic websites? If the answer NO, so when Google ads will support our mother language?
