**** To Deploy at run time / Compile Your application

1) Unzip rsServer.zip alongside your application (can be in the same folder)
So if for example your application is deployed somewhere on the server

\\servermachine\myAppFolder

Unzipping should result in creating ;

\\servermachine\myAppFolder\rsServer

Now To Compile Your application;

2) Include \rsDev\progs\dummy.prg to your project
(or dump content to some other dummy.prg You are compiling along)

3) Include \rsDev\libs\ReportSculptor.vcx to your project
(If you decide to customize RsPreview include also rsPrev.vcx)

3) Copy functions rsGlobalObjectSetup() / RsFrx() and engine subclass 'myRS' from \rsDev\progs\myRs.prg
to some of your procedure files which are run time visible
(Together with your own common Functions and procedures, or at the bottom of your main prg itself)

4) At the beginning of your main module you call/execute ReportSculptor.App
contained in that subfolder on your shared server (once only!)

*************************Copy to your main prg **********************************************
Local cRSServerFolder,cGdiPlusX
cRSServerFolder='\\MyServerMachine\myVFPAppFolder\rsServer'  &&supply proper path
do ( addbs(cRSServerFolder)+'ReportSculptor.App' )

***Now we also enable GdiPlusX application
** supplied in subfolder of rsServer
** (It could be elsewehere, but required version is 1.20 with EMF support!)

cGdiPlusX=Addbs(_oRSGO.RS_Root) + 'GdiPlusX\system_lean.app'
do (cGdiPlusX)
********************************************************************************************

ReportSculptor.App sets procedure to itself, instantiates RS global object,
and you are ready to go.

* * *

Using XFRX with ReportSculptor

Simply amend INI function which you previosely added to your common procedures
to point to proper XFRX path.

*****************************************
*** INI Function for global RS settings
****************************************
function rsGlobalObjectSetup
    with _oRSGO

        **Global properties applied at RS Engine instantiation

        .xfrx_active = 'N'  &&Change to 'Y' if you own and use XFRX
        .xfrx_path = '\\SomeServerMachine\XFRX125' &&Set your own XFRX run time path

        .rs_EngineClass = 'MyRS' && RS Engine Subclass used to customise RS Engine

    endwith

* * *
Note!
Here you can also set other RS global object properties which are later used by RS engine
Global Object is instantiated durring initialisation sequence (from within ReportSculptor.app)
and reference to it is kept in Public variable. It is (only) public variable used/created by RS and
it is called ;

_ORSGO

Global Object usage tips;

_ORSGO.rsExportFolder = cSomeFolder &&Set destination for exporting files
_ORSGO.rsExportStem = cFileNameStem &&Set name of export file stem (extensions will vary)

After that, function calls such are Frx2RS() or Xls2RS() with wrapped reporting functionality
will know where to send files. To set up alternative output folder/file stem permanently
use rsEngine subclass.

***Important
Developer's Guide / Help can be axtracted (as PDF) from within Form Sample #10

Then see help for more tips.
