Print Preview Program is not an OCX but the complete
source code to enable Print Preview capabilities to be incorporated into your programs. All of the code is here including the methods for the effects for the About Box.

This example was developed using VB6, however VB5 can
be used as well. In order to use VB5 you may need
need to use the Comdlg32.OCX for VB6. This file is
included in this archive for VB5 users. Prior to changing to the VB6 Comdlg32.OCX just try the program and see if it works, if you get an error message regarding the Common Dialog try installing Cmdlg32.OCX on your computer as follows:

In Windows Explorer go to the C:\Windows\Systems Directory and highlight your current Cmdlg32.OCX file, then copy it to a temporary
directory.

Now you can copy the latest version from this archive to your Windows Systems directory. Since the version included in this archive is an upgraded version (from that included with VB5) it should work ok with any of your present apps. If you have a problem, unregister this latest version and remove it from your Windows\Systems directory then copy your version back to the C:\Windows\System directory and register it. I have used this updated version with VB5 and have not had any problems with apps developed with the VB5 Version.

Note! The Print Preview Program Screen is currently set for a 15" Moniter with the Screen Resolution set at 800 x 600 Pixels and True
32 bit color. If you are using a lower resolution, (640 x 480 Pixels),
you will have to make the necessary adjustments to your viewing properties.
