1. Remover is an ActiveX control that can be "plugged" in any programming language that 
supports ActiveX. (VB,VC++,Delphi ). With him you can tweak many of the Windows settings.
Remover has been tested with Win9x (to work on Win95, Internet Explorer 4.0 must be installed).
If you have the posibility to test it with NT, 2000 or Me, please email me the result. ( although I REALLY DOUBT
that some stuffs will work under NT/2000). 

2.To register it, copy cgsrem32.ocx to your System folder, and at the Run menu enter:
c:\windows\system\regsvr32.exe cgsrem32.ocx  (be sure to change c:\windows if this isn't your winpath).
To unregister it run c:\windows\system\regsvr32.exe /u cgsrem32.ocx

3. It's very easy to use Remover (that's way i didn't provide a demo project....that and the fact that i'm lazy),
just access his methods and set them according to your needs.

 Here is a list of what he can do:

-RemoveFavoritesMenu - removes Favorites Menu from start menu
-RemoveRunMenu       - removes Run menu.
-RemoveWindowsUpdate -removes Windows Update submenu from Settings menu.
-RemoveRecentDocs    -remove Docs menu
-RemoveShutDown      -remove Shut Down menu.
-RemoveLogOff        -removes Log Off menu.
-RemoveFind Menu     -removes find menu. 
-RemoveControlPanel & Printers -removes these 2 submenus from Settings
-RemoveFolderOptions -removes Folder Options submenu from Settings menu.
-RemoveFileSharing - you cannot share files in a network
-RemoveNetwork - removes the content of the entire network.
-RemoveRegistryTools - disables the registry editing tools (like Regedit).
-Removes AppereancePage -hide the appereance page
-RemoveBackgroundPage - hide the background page
-RemoveScreenSaverPage -hide screen saver page. 
-RemoveSettingsPage -hide the display settings page.
-RemoveFileSystemButton -it will disable the File System button from System Propreties.
-RemoveHardwareProfilePage - hides the Hardware Profiles page.
-RemoveVirtualMemoryPage - hides the Virtal Memory button from the Performance Tab. 
-Change WindowsOwner -change the win owner with the one you provide.
-Change CompanyName -change the company name.
-Hide Taskbar -(i think it's obvious.)
-Hide Start button -(same as above).
-Hide Systray - hides the taskbar section where the icons and the clock resides.
-Hide Mouse cursor.
-OptimizeDiskCache - optimize the WindowCache.
-ChangeBlueScreenColor - change the famous BlueScreen of Death color ( you can make it RSOD - Red Screen of Death).

 NOTES:
-If you remove FolderOptions, Control Panel & Printers, WindowsUpdate and  Taskbar Properties, the entire Settings 
menu will be removed.
-For most of the options, you must restart the computer to see the changes.
-Hide Start & Takbar are not permanent. When you restart you computer the taskbar & start button will appear.


Example:
Short example on how to use the control in Vb:
-for instance to hide the background page:
Remover1.RemoveBackgorundPage (True)
To show it back: 
Remover1.RemoveBackgroundPage (False).
