02/13/02 - So you want to write an Outlook-Enabled Application? No problem. I've just made it so that you don't have to know ANYTHING About the Outlook object model to add Outlook functionality to your own applications, just drag and drop.

Inside this project you'll find outlookcontrols.ocx. Register this on your system by 0utting it in your Windows System directory (windows\system on 95&98&ME, or winnt\system32 on NT 4.0 and Win2k, or windows\system32 on XP systems). After doing this, run regsvr32.exe <path-to-system>\outlookcontrols.ocx. Then make a reference to it in your project using projects -> Components. Now just drag and drop the control that you would like to use. You can instantly send emails, create contacts, tasks, appointments, and notes.

As with all my work, the source code is for sale. $500 US if you would like the source code to the outlookcontrols.ocx. I'd also be happy to break up the specific controls and negotiate, contact me anytime. I am also available for other developments of any kind, especially those concerning Outlook/Exchange, ASP, SQL 2000, and Windows Terminal Services.

I've included a demo project that utilizes the controls, but remember they must be registered on your system as described above.

Here's a jist of what you have:

addresslistpicker = choose which of the available address books you'd like to use
addresspicker = choose a name from the selected address book
createtaskform = creates a task
createmessageform = creates an email
createappointmentform = creates an appointment
createcontactform = creates a contact
createnoteform = creates a note

Send any requests for objects to me via email!
