What is it?
It is small and simple program, that monitors keyboard keystrokes (in background) and if appropriate key was pressed then executes command.
![]()
The program was specially designed for use with WinAmp, because it uses WinAmp API calls (play, pause, stops song...), but could also be used for executing any Windows application.
Program works in background and does not need focus. For example, suppose that the F9 key is used to play/pause music in WinAmp (keys are programmable and can be changed by user) and you are writing document in some text editor. Then you press F9 key and WinAmp starts. You press the F9 key again and music starts to play. And all that is done without clicking around - simple and easy.
What I also did, was that I labeled F9, F10, F11 and F12 keys with
labels
. Some new keyboards already have these keys, but this is very cheap
alternative.
Why did I write program?
There are two main reasons:
-a lot of keys on keyboard are unused...
-because I wanted less clicking and switching between programs - I am lazy ;-)
Who am I?
